Hong Kong-based Metrojet, part of the Kadoorie Group, has appointed Dave Yip in the new role of director, business development. Yip will oversee all aspects of business development including aircraft management, charter, aircraft sales, client relations and special customer projects.

Holding a master's degree in international management and with 20 years' experience in business and commercial aviation, Yip started his aviation career as a maintenance planner with HAECO. He moved into business aviation with Metrojet in 2006 as an engineering support manager. He moved to Hongkong Jet for eight years, where in his most recent role as COO he was responsible for all aircraft management and maintenance functions, before returning to Metrojet.

“I am extremely pleased to re-join the Metrojet team of passionate experts and look forward to making a positive contribution towards its business philosophy of uncompromising safety, personal service and sustainable growth,” he says.

Established in 1995, Metrojet pioneered business aviation services in Hong Kong and remains a safety and customer-focussed business jet operator and maintenance provider in Asia Pacific. The company provides all-inclusive aircraft management, maintenance and aviation consultancy services.
