Partnership proposes to fight pilot shortage
Concerned at the lack of pilot recruitment opportunities around the world, Avionco and PilotMovers together are creating a pilot network that will address pilot shortages and keep operators flying.
Avionco ceo Mike Dodd is keeping track of Pilot DNA.

Avionco ceo Mike Dodd and PilotMovers ceo Alejandro Ponce Lang-Lenton have announced a significant partnership agreement to increase global pilot recruitment opportunities for pilots and operators in the business of flight. Lang-Lenton states: “Our companies share a similar vision that we call Pilot DNA. This allows us to focus on helping to put the right pilots in the right jobs across commercial, private and business operators.”

The newly expanded network brings together two databases that allow pilots to register and update their credentials so that their information self-identifies when job postings are made. Both PilotMovers and Avionco can then quickly respond to market needs on a daily or hourly basis.

Dodd adds: “The future of aviation recruitment will be enhanced by collaborations like this, that put service to our customers and our pilots first. We've been making a difference in the business of flight for over 20 years and this is just a natural evolution in that endeavour. We're excited to be working with PilotMovers as our partners going forward.”

Headquartered in Canada, Avionco is a global provider of aircraft management, flight operations and technical operations, holding its own AOC in Guernsey, Channel Islands and serving the business, commercial and private markets.

Shanghai-headquartered PilotMovers is a leading pilot recruitment agency committed to its significant database of professional pilots and the airlines it serves throughout the world.
