Falcon fitted with enhanced Stage on demand
Stage, the subscription streaming service for movies and TV shows from Collins Aerospace, has now been enabled for wired delivery as well as wireless. It can be integrated with CMS to play through cabin displays.
Now available as a wired option, a new version of Stage on demand from Collins Aerospace has been factory-installed on a new aircraft.

Collins Aerospace has enhanced its Stage on demand IFE system to include both wireless and wired options for entertainment, information and business, and for the first time it has been installed factory-direct on a Falcon that recently entered service..

Traditionally, Stage has provided customers access to thousands of wireless inflight movie and television show options via their phones and tablets. The new wired option provides additional capabilities such as easy integration with Venue Cabin Management service, to play content on bulkhead monitors and individual seat displays.

A growing number of aircraft are flying with Stage on demand, and the service has proved popular. Collins Aerospace sees this latest milestone as a continuation of the product's success.

“Stage on demand has always stood out in the market by providing customers with the same kind of streaming experience they have on the ground; access to blockbuster movies, popular television shows, sports feeds, games and music,” says director, cabin systems Jon Kounkel. “By offering both wired and non-wired options we're simplifying access to inflight entertainment while providing customers with more flexibility.”
