Improved FBO premises await Jet Aviation in Saudi
Newly refurbished and more spacious premises beckon for Jet Aviation in Saudi Arabia as it positions itself to accommodate increasing traffic volumes to Riyadh. It will be more comfortable for passengers and crew too.
Jet Aviation is moving its Riyadh FBO to a new location at King Khalid International airport.

Jet Aviation is to relocate to a new and larger 600 sqm facility area within the shared FBO terminal at King Khalid International airport in Riyadh. The airport is currently undergoing a major overhaul to accommodate more traffic. Jet Aviation expects its new refurbished FBO to be operational before the end of the year.

The well-appointed two-storey facility will be built to Jet Aviation's global design standards, most visiblly in the reception area and stylised furniture. On the ground floor there will be a reception, one large customer lounge, three VIP lounges and a meeting room. The upper floor will accommodate a crew lounge and office space. It will also feature an office located airside for handling and line crew.

“We are delighted to move our FBO to these newly refurbished, more spacious premises,” says Saudi Arabia general manager Khaled Al- Ghamdi. “With the expected traffic growth to Riyadh in the coming years, the additional space is necessary and offers great benefit in terms of passenger and crew comfort. As the country’s capital and main business centre, Riyadh is a key strategic location for us and we are delighted to strengthen our brand through this investment.”

Jet Aviation's FBO services in Riyadh include passenger and baggage handling, immigration and customs clearance, transportation, hotel and catering coordination, aircraft refuelling, interior deep cleaning, exterior wash and turnaround assistance.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2019, Jet Aviation Saudi Arabia is a long-standing joint venture company with Saudi Arabian partners and was the first company to set up an FBO in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The company currently operates four FBOs there: in Jeddah since 1979; Riyadh since 1983; Medina since 2012; and Yanbu since 2018. The facility in Jeddah also holds Saudi Arabian GACA-145 and FAA repair station approvals for line maintenance and aircraft on ground (AOG) services to private and business operators.
