Former BACA chair brings disputes expertise to REN
REN Legal has appointed new partner Richard Mumford. The former BACA - The Air Charter Association chairman relishes the opportunity to grow the firm's contentious offering.
Richard Mumford is now a partner at REN Legal in London.

London-based commercial law firm REN Legal has appointed new partner Richard Mumford.

Mumford joins from Stevens & Bolton where he served as head of commercial litigation and head of aviation. He is an aviation specialist acting for lessors, airlines and financial institutions. He is also a specialist in the air charter market having served for three years as chairman of BACA - The Air Charter Association.

Mumford qualified at international law firm CMS in 1996 and later practised as a partner and head of dispute resolution at UK law firm asb law. He is recognised for aviation dispute resolution by both Chambers and Legal 500, and in 2017 was named one of Aviation Week's Top Ten Leaders of European Business Aviation. He is a fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
