Monaco-based rotary operator Monacair has developed its regular helicopter shuttle transfers between Nice airport and Monaco, which allow passengers to check-in their luggage to their final airline destination and enjoy a direct transfer to the boarding gate. The service has been extended beyond Qatar Airways passengers to include several other airlines. Customers can make use of a secured zone and not be impacted by alerts that may affect their connecting flights. The transfer between Nice and Monaco lasts seven minutes.

Monacair customers are able to leave the principality up to 30 minutes before their private flight or 60 minutes beforehand for a commercial flight. A free pick-up and drop off service is included for its clientele and the operator takes charge of the passenger and their luggage on their arrival and departure in the Principality of Monaco.

The company has also been collaborating with private partners to offer unique travel experiences in the region. Its fleet of helicopters is able to land at any destination within a radius of 500 km of Monaco, enabling clients to visit unique locations and enjoy remote experiences such as gastronomy or a sporting activity. This is all part of Monacair's strategy to position itself as a travel agency for short stays.

“We provide a selection of activities for customers to enjoy immersive experiences such as a private wine tasting at the one of the most impressive wineries in Italy at Tenuta Torciano, spending a full day spa and leisure at the widely-known resort Terre Blanche or making a getaway to one of Corsica’s secret places,” says digital and marketing director Pierre-Marie Peltier.
