Interiors experts appoint manager for MRO
Fort Worth Alliance-based Robinson Aerospace has appointed former Dassault manager Mark Karls to head its expansion into the MRO business.

Fort Worth Alliance airport-based Robinson Aerospace has appointed aviation services veteran Mark Karls to lead its newly-formed maintenance repair and overhaul business unit. Karls joins Robinson from Dassault Falcon Jet where he was responsible for leading its Wilmington Delaware factory service centre. The Robinson Aerospace MRO operation will be headquartered at the company's 217,000 sq ft Fort Worth Alliance airport facility.

“We are delighted to have Mark join the Robinson family, where he'll lead the effort of growing our MRO business," says Jeff Robinson, founder and president. "The MRO business unit is a planned extension of our core aircraft interior design and fabrication business where we feel we can now offer the business aviation market comprehensive maintenance and completion capabilities under one roof with the personalised service that the company has come to be known for.

“Robinson has embarked on a new era, and was recently awarded its FAA Part 145 repair station certification as well as earning certification under ISO9001:2015 and AS9100-D. We have the required certifications, processes, people and, most importantly, the facilities to offer the market what they need regarding turnkey maintenance and modifications capability. We look forward to Mark leading his team."
