Fort Worth Alliance airport-based Robinson Aerospace has appointed aviation services veteran Mark Karls to lead its newly-formed maintenance repair and overhaul business unit. Karls joins Robinson from Dassault Falcon Jet where he was responsible for leading its Wilmington Delaware factory service centre. The Robinson Aerospace MRO operation will be headquartered at the company's 217,000 sq ft Fort Worth Alliance airport facility.

"The MRO business unit is a planned extension of our core aircraft interior design and fabrication business where we feel we can now offer the business aviation market comprehensive maintenance and completion capabilities under one roof with the personalised service that the company has come to be known for.
