Voom expands Mexican network
Desperate to avoid the congested roads of Mexico City, local helicopter passengers have been clamouring for an extension of services to the busy Santa Fe region of the Mexican capital, says booking platform Voom.

Brazilian on-demand helicopter booking platform Voom has expanded its Mexican operations to include a major business district in the west of Mexico City. It is now offering flights to a helipad located on Carretera México-Toluca in La Rosita, El Yaqui, in the centre of many of the largest office buildings in the area and some of the best restaurants in the city.

Customers can now fly from Santa Fe to any of the helipads in the Voom network which includes Mexico City International airport, Interlomas and Toluca airport. Prices start at $2,500 and the journey time from Santa Fe to Mexico City International airport is just 12 minutes, as opposed to well over two hours in traffic on a typical Friday afternoon.

To celebrate the launch, Voom has a special offer of 20 per cent off the cost of a flight for anyone flying in and out of Santa Fe until October 17.
