Get Heli platform opens pre-launch registration
Helicopters are the target of this newly-formed charter marketplace, but ACE18 interest means that rotary may not be the only thing in its sights.

UK-based Get Heli is a new B2B marketplace that connects helicopter charter brokers and operators for what it claims are easier, faster and better transactions, and has opened pre-registration in preparation for its official launch. The platform aims to introduce the speed and efficiency of online communication and e-commerce to the charter helicopter business while still respecting the bespoke nature and traditions of the industry.

Get Heli has recently taken on Laurent Vallet as its new CEO to help launch its online platform and deliver a simple but modern solution to improve speed and efficiency for both sides in the helicopter charter market. Vallet is a keen helicopter pilot and has over 15 years of experience working in complex B2B markets, including structured finance and advisory at JPMorgan.

"I am thrilled to be contributing to the transformation of the industry in this new digital age," he says. "There is a clearly-identified need for new technology within the charter market, to streamline communication and bookings between operators and brokers. We are going to provide assistance to both sides so they can both grow their revenues, while having more time to focus on other areas of their businesses. We strongly believe our platform will reveal the untapped potential for growth of the charter market in the UK."

Get Heli had a successful time exhibiting at Air Charter Expo 2018 with an overwhelming amount of positive and helpful feedback from all sides. "It was rewarding to have so many charter brokers and operators being excited about transacting and interacting with each other online. This proves we are moving in the right direction, adding significant value to both sides of the industry," he adds.
