Gama bolsters board with Steeves and Medley
Gama Aviation has appointed Dr Richard Steeves and Neil Medley to its board. Steeves joins as an independent non-executive director, having founded and built up Synergy Health, the FTSE 250 outsourcer.

Gama Aviation has appointed Dr Richard Steeves and Neil Medley to its board. Steeves joins as an independent non-executive director, having founded and built up Synergy Health, the FTSE 250 outsourcer. Established in 1991, the company was worth UK£1.4 billion by the time of its takeover in October 2015. Medley, the company's current COO and formerly of BAE Systems, has been working alongside chief executive Marwan Khalek to improve the performance of the business internationally. He takes up the post of chief director.

Chairman Sir Ralph Robins comments: “I am delighted to welcome Richard to the group. He brings a wealth of commercial and international experience to the business at a time when we are developing our business globally.

“Neil was appointed COO of the group in September 2016 and has already made a valuable impact on the organisation. I look forward to him contributing his knowledge and experience as a chief director of Gama.”
