Dubai-based Empire Aviation Group (EAG) has named Scott Glenn as director of sales in order to build activity for new and pre-owned types. Glenn, who joined EAG in 2014, will be based in Dubai and will support its global operations, working closely with the company's sales office in the US. The announcement was made at the Dubai Air Show 2017, where EAG marked its 10th anniversary.

MD Paras Dhamecha says: “Aircraft sales and acquisition is a vital part of our service. Scott's experience in the US, the largest and most active private aviation market, will be a great asset to the rest of the company and to our owners as the sales market continues to recover.”

EAG has also launched Elan Air Charter, a division in Dubai designed to meet rising demand for charter services. Elan will support customers with passenger charters, commercial cargo flights and air ambulance flights, and will also provide global concierge services.

Dhamecha continues: “Our experience over the last 10 years has convinced us that there is a demand for specialist air charter services in the region and we have established Elan Air Charter to meet this need.”
