Corail Helicopteres, located in La Reunion, has taken delivery of an EC120B helicopter for the transfer of passengers and luggage to and from the island's hotels and airports.

Dispatch manager Pauline Spitz says that it is a very quiet aircraft, and that its performance is excellent. “Since the EC120B has arrived, our range of clients has been increasing, and hence, we are able to respond to their demands efficiently and coherently,” she tells EBAN. “Currently, we operate scenic flights around the island and charters from airport to hotels, offering different packages from which the clients can choose what best suits them. In addition to being one of the world's quietest helicopters, the EC120B is equipped with the latest technologies and offers great visibility.”

Corail plans to take on more staff to handle an anticipated spike in enquiries, having recently opened a new base on the neighbouring island of Mauritius. “We hope to expand our business on Mauritius Island, with two EC120Bs and one AS355N,” Spitz continues.
