Spanish operator FAASA Aviation is to lease a pair of B412SP helicopters from Milestone Aviation Group. The aircraft were previously on lease to a Brazilian operator and utilised in oil and gas support missions. Both units are currently in Spain, where FAASA is carrying out reconfiguration work to facilitate firefighting work. “FAASA has a 50-year history of providing safe and reliable helicopter utility services,” says CEO Hector Tamarit Almagro. “We operate a fleet of more than 80 helicopters in Europe and South America. Milestone is an ideal leasing partner for us with a truly global team and a diverse fleet.”
