Leonardo helicopters take on VIP missions
Sloane Helicopters, the UK and Ireland distributor for Leonardo, has signed for a further AW109SP rotorcraft, which is scheduled to be delivered in 2018.

Sloane Helicopters, the UK and Ireland distributor for Leonardo, has signed for a further AW109SP rotorcraft, which is scheduled to be delivered in 2018. The company is already set to deliver two VIP helicopters, comprising an AW109SP GrandNew and an AW169. The AW169 will be delivered later this year and will be the fifth VIP-configured AW169 to enter the UK and Ireland market since the type achieved EASA certification in 2015.

Together Sloane and Leonardo have sold six new and pre-owned AW109SP and AW169 helicopters to private owners and operators in the UK and Ireland in the last 12 months. As a Leonardo distributor for 22 years, Sloane has delivered more than 70 new helicopters including the AW119, AB206, AW109S and AW109SP models.
