French rotary operator Helittoral is planning to lease a Lama helicopter to bolster its aerial works and sightseeing operations. Located in the south of France close to the Pyrenees mountain range, the company operates from Perpignan airport and has a winter base near to the ski station of Font Romeu and Andorra.

“We carry out panoramic flights and aerial works and fly types such as the Alouette SA 318C and Bell 212,” comments manager Laurent Tissier. “We are looking for investors for a Lama lease and we are in the process of applying for an air ops commercial certificate with EASA. We have our own CAMO and recently updated our manuals too, so progress is good.”
