COO of AirClub Dennis Goeppel has been named regional sales manager, Europe, for flight support organisation Jetex. “I am very excited to join a global leader in the business aviation industry,” he tells EBAN. “Jetex is renowned for delivering flexible trip support solutions to customers worldwide. The company provides exceptional FBOs, aircraft fuelling, ground handling and global trip planning and it caters to an elite clientele including owners and operators of business jets.”

Jetex has recently opened an FBO at Dubai's Al Maktoum airport, and the facility is the first in Dubai to pass IS-BAH standards.

Goeppel will continue to be involved with operator alliance AirClub, which he says is currently adapting its corporate structure to improve cost-effectiveness. It expects to add a new member from Europe in Q2 2017 and is currently in extensive discussions with various providers to improve joint procurement.
