Bombardier's service centre network has completed more than 200 96-month inspections on Challenger jets.

Kaman Aerosystems has delivered the first K-MAX airframe from its re-opened production line in Jacksonville, Florida to the company's plant in Bloomfield, Connecticut. The aircraft will now undergo final assembly, testing and certification, and the first delivery is scheduled for Q2 this year.

Flight training organisation CAE has signed a series of commercial and business aviation training contracts valued at close to $190 million. EMEA customers include Smart Aviation in the Middle East and Redstar in Turkey.

Piper Aircraft has appointed industry veteran Drew McEwen as VP of international and direct sales. He will lead global sales efforts and oversee the factory direct sales team for fleet, trainer and special mission aircraft. McEwen joined Piper in 2010.

ExecuJet has had another successful period during the World Economic Forum, which took place on 17-20 January 2017 in Davos, Switzerland. The company handled close to 300 business aircraft movements from its Zurich FBO and utilised its Munich facility for seven repositioning flights.
