G280 shows off long legs with record Chicago to France flight
Gulfstream's G280 recently completed its longest ever flight by flying 3,922 nm non-stop from Chicago to Tours Val de Loire airport in France.

Gulfstream's G280 recently completed its longest ever flight by flying 3,922 nm non-stop from Chicago to Tours Val de Loire airport in France. Owned and operated by WeatherTech CEO David MacNeil, the jet completed the journey with four passengers and two crew members in a time of seven hours and 40 minutes at an average speed of Mach 0.80.

“This flight highlights the G280's long range capability and outstanding fuel efficiency,” says senior VP of sales and marketing Scott Neal.
