Austrian air taxi operator GlobeAir has won the Austrian Chamber of Commerce's Export Award 2016. Voted by an expert jury, the prize was jointly presented by the vice chancellor of Austria and minister of economy Reinhold Mitterlehner and the president of the Austrian chamber of economy Christoph Leitl.

GlobeAir CEO Bernhard Fragner accepted the award. “When I founded GlobeAir in 2007, I would have never expected such recognition,” he states. “This award is a remarkable achievement for all of us. We are working hard to offer charter flights at affordable fares, aimed at increasing business productivity and efficiency in Austria and in the rest of Europe.”

Headquartered in Linz, the operator has the world's largest fleet of Citation Mustangs and serves up to 1,500 European airports. It is also a recipient of the EBAA safety award.
