The UK's Sloane Helicopters has named John Parnell as its director of sales and marketing. Parnell's 17-year career in aviation began in the military as a helicopter pilot and he has also held a regional post for Finmeccanica. Says chairman David George: “We are delighted to welcome John to Sloane as he brings a wealth of experience of the AgustaWestland products and a solid understanding of the UK market.”

Sloane Helicopters is an AgustaWestland/Finmecannica ASC and a UK and Ireland distributor, and provides full management, maintenance and training from its headquarters in Northamptonshire and base in Northern Ireland.
