Polish medical rescue operator Lotnicze Pogotowie Ratunkowe (LPR) has received four factory-new H135 rotorcraft that will extend its HEMS provision across the country. The latest delivery brings the total H135 LPR fleet to 27 units.

Prior to delivery, a technical acceptance process took place in December 2015 at Airbus Helicopters' Donauwörth site in Germany. All helicopters were then transferred to the main LPR base in Warsaw. Poland is now one of the world's largest users of this helicopter type in EMS configuration.

The order for the H135s was placed in August 2015, and the latest rotorcraft are anticipated to maintain the average availability rate of over 95 per cent that LPR currently delivers. All units include sophisticated avionics, full NVG certification and a fully-equipped EMS cabin.
