French design and engineering unit Aero Experts has been awarded its design organisation approval certificate from EASA after a successful 12-month audit process. The certificate allows the company to approve minor aircraft modifications independently and will also speed up STC certification processes for any cabin-related modifications on small and large aircraft, including satcom antenna installations, in accordance with airworthiness regulatory requirements.

The approval comes in the wake of recent expansion for Aero Experts, having recently established operations in Sao Paolo, Brazil.
