Saudi Arabian operator Arabasco and The Registry of Aruba have executed an MoU laying down the basis for further collaboration on aircraft registration and inspection. Through this arrangement the operator will be able to register aircraft under aircraft management in Aruba. Chief commercial officer for Arabasco, Abdallah Bin Radwan Al Cherry says: “We are pleased with this arrangement and look forward to passing the benefits of our relationship on to our clients.”
The Department of Civil Aviation in Aruba has already approved Arabasco's Part 145 MRO, allowing work to be performed in Saudi Arabia. Adds Registry of Aruba ceo Jorge Colindres: “Our relationship goes back 20 years and this allows for even greater mutual growth.”
Arabasco will benefit from the experience of the Aruba registry including safety oversight services from former national aviation administration inspectors and surveyors. They will deliver regulatory and technical services in compliance with ICAO SARPs, EASA, FAA, Transport Canada, Brazil and other global CAAs.
In business since 1982, Arabasco provides aviation services including ground handling, maintenance, management, charter and fuelling. It reintroduced charter and management services in May 2014.
