Salzburg, Austria-based S-Air has taken delivery of a Jetstream 32 which it will use for ad hoc charter flights from October onwards. Founded in 2014 by shareholders private Austrian railway operator SETG and Astrid Emersberger, the company has already commenced sightseeing flights with a Piper PA-32. The Jetstream addition will allow it to serve groups of up to 19.

“We believe that events such as music concerts, sports fixtures and the Grand Prix will be popular with clients,” says co-ceo Gunther Pitterka. “In 2016 we will be exploring the possibility of chartering to Adriatic destinations including the south of Croatia, as well as the Cote d'Azur. “This Jetstream 32 will get a paint and interior upgrade, including a usb connection on all seats, during this summer.”

S-Air is offering its PA-32 programme to passengers across the globe. “Guests from all over the world can experience 'The Sound Of Music' (a musical based in Salzburg) from above,” Pitterka concludes.

The JS32 is Danish-registered and will be operated on the AOC of Danish company FlexFlight.
