Diamond Aircraft has received EASA type certification for its newest twin engine aircraft, the DA62. The DA62 was on display for the first time at Aero Friedrichshafen. By changing the production process for this aircraft any paint or colour scheme can now be chosen.

The aircraft has a maximum speed of 201 kts and a maximum range of 1,314 nm. Twelve units have been sold since the order book was formally opened at the Friedrichshafen event.
