Central European business jet operator Grossmann Jet Service has promoted Lada Ouhrabkova to the newly-created role of chief operating officer.
Ouhrabkova currently holds the position of flight operations and training manager deputy with GJS, and will now be responsible for maintaining the safe and efficient operation of the Embraer Legacy 600 and Hawker 900 XP aircraft currently in the fleet, as well as managing the introduction of new aircraft as the company grows.
She will report to ceo Dagmar Grossmann and manage the Six Sigma certified team members who will be helping her to deliver the high standards of safety and security the regulators expect.
Grossman says: “The position of coo is a new one for GJS and it was vital we appointed someone who understands every element of our business. Lada is an experienced aviation operator and I believe she will guide the team to deliver even higher standards of performance.’’
Ouhrabkova studies as an aviation engineer at Czech Technical University before joining GJS in 2010.
