Sloane Helicopters has taken delivery from AgustaWestland of the fourth GrandNew to be placed onto the UK register.

Following the handover in Milan, Sloane's crew brought the helicopter through stunning Alpine scenery, enjoying the new cockpit technology, including the mapping and synthetic vision systems. Sloane was unable to confirm the ultimate customer's identity.

Sir Peter Ogden, joint founder of the computer services company Computacenter, is reported to be upgrading his AgustaWestland Grand to a GrandNew. This is to be registered G-JTHU after the Channel Island of Jethou.
