The Government of Macedonia has taken delivery of a Special Edition Learjet 60 midsize business jet. The aircraft will mainly be used to provide national and regional service for senior government personnel. Operating from Skopje, the jet can fly up to eight passengers non-stop across most of Europe.
“We began a comprehensive tender evaluation process in October and, based on both technical and economic criteria, we believe the Learjet 60 represents the best aircraft in its class,” commented Saso Novkoski, aviation department manager for the Government of Macedonia.
Introduced in October, the special edition LR60 includes an array of avionics and interior features, such as Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System, a Traffic Collision Avoidance System, and an auxiliary power unit.
