Bombardier stocks up on spare parts
Bombardier is investing US$9.5 million to increase its aircraft spare parts inventory at its Heathrow warehouse for Learjet, Challenger and Global business jet customers.

Bombardier is investing US$9.5 million to increase its aircraft spare parts inventory at its Heathrow warehouse for Learjet, Challenger and Global business jet customers.

This investment is part of a multiphase plan to improve aircraft parts availability throughout Europe. It also features a 56,000 square foot warehouse at Frankfurt International Airport, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2005.

Bombardier also aims to begin a counter-to-counter parts delivery service in Europe through Expeditors International of Washington. With more than 170 offices world wide, Expeditors provides customer-specific airfreight programs and a door-to-door delivery service.
