Citation Mustang begins worldwide tour
Cessna has launched a 10 city worldwide Citation Mustang mock-up tour, which began on February 14. The display will feature a full size cabin with interior amenities and fully functional cockpit equipped with the new Garmin G1000 avionics suite.

Cessna has launched a 10 city worldwide Citation Mustang mock-up tour, which began on February 14. The display will feature a full size cabin with interior amenities and fully functional cockpit equipped with the new Garmin G1000 avionics suite.\rThe tour started in Chicago, and will move on to Baltimore, then to Farnborough, UK, at TAG Aviation, moving to Belgium, before stopping for three days in Friedrichshafen, Germany, on April 21. The tour will then move to Vienna, Milan, Cannes, Zurich, and finally concluding in Switzerland, at the EBACE Convention at Geneva Airport on May 18 - May 20. \rThe Citation Mustang was announced at the 2002 National Business Aviation Association convention and is Cessna’s newest entry-level business jet. It will be certified as a FAR Part 23 aircraft, with a cruise speed of 340 knots and maximum operating altitude of 41,000 feet. Cessna has already begun testing on the Mustang engine, avionics and autopilot, flight controls, environmental system, and landing gear. Its first flight is anticipated this year.
