Saudi B777 is first to feature EFB
Saudi-based vip carrier MidEast Jet is to become the first Boeing 777 operator to install the Boeing Class 3 Electronic Flight Bag. Using the EFB, the pilots will be able to calculate the ideal speed and engine setting for any aircraft, in any weather condition, and on any runway. MidEast Jet director of operations David Thomas commented: “Adding the EFB reduces the amount of charts, manuals, and log books our pilots are used to carrying.” The EFB features Jeppesen’s Airport Moving Map application.
