Bookajet, based at TAG Farnborough Airport, has been selected to exclusively manage Sweden’s European Flight Service’s (EFS) commercial operations.\rThe company will take responsibility for charter sales, marketing and pricing. It can also provide flight and cabin crews, flight administration, aircraft insurance, financial control, maintenance co-ordination and budget preparation, if required. \rFor passengers, Bookajet provides a limousine service, priority check-in, enhanced security and specialist catering.\rChris Rooney, Bookajet’s md, states that the contract with EFS will complement additional aircraft that the company will be taking on this summer. \rIts European charter fleet now includes a Gulfstream 550, two Citation Excels, and a Citation VII. A third Citation Excel will be based at Farnborough from April, followed by a further Gulfstream later this year.\r“We chose Bookajet because of its strong brand, global reach and proven track record,” said EFS md Steve Diaper.\rBookajet manages executive aircraft for business and private jet users and, according to the company, it aims to challenge the image of private aircraft as a mode of transport for a select few.
