Eurocopter España has delivered two AS532L Cougars to the Spanish Defence Ministry. The Spanish Government ordered the vip aircraft in June 2003 and deliveries took place at the end of last year. The helicopters, which will be used for the transportation of senior government officials, join four AS332 M1s and two AS332 B Super Pumas operated by Squadron 402 of the Spanish Air Force, based in Cuatro Vientos. In a contract worth more than €33 million, Eurocopter España will undertake training of the flight crew for the helicopter and logistical support.
