January 9 marked the Bombardier Challenger 300’s first year in service. The first four aircraft, delivered to Bombardier’s Flexjet fleet, have surpassed the 1,000 flight-hour milestone.
Dean Phillips Incorporated, the first ‘traditional’ customer, flew its aircraft on a 30-day, 12 city, around the world business trip, taking in Hawaii, Capetown, Zambia, and Australia. As of November 30 last year, the 19 aircraft in service had completed a total of 11,429 flight hours and 8,071 landings.
