Senate orders pair of Meridians for the UK
Two Piper Meridians have been ordered by Bournemouth-based Senate Aviation, for delivery to the UK in the first half of this year. The turboprop aircraft will be equipped with ‘glass cockpit’ instrument displays. In the space of six months, Senate has sold 10 new and pre-owned aircraft, totalling in excess of $10 million. “We anticipated that Senate, our top-selling distributor outside the US, would want to pre order their share of our production capacity to ensure UK and Spanish operators would have an extensive choice in 2005,” commented Vincent Zarella, New Piper’s manager for dealer development.
