Raytheon offers support programme
Raytheon is offering customers who buy Beechcraft and Hawker aircraft its ‘Support Plus’ maintenance programme for a one year trial period. The scheme is said to provide owners of aircraft up to 10 years old with selectable options covering all maintenance issues. For a monthly fee, Raytheon becomes responsible for expenses including parts and labour for scheduled and unscheduled inspections and maintenance and component removals. The company says that, at the end of the one year period, owners will have the option of continuing the agreement for the full five year term, or ending the agreement with no further commitment.
