CAE regrets the passing of Mr R Fraser Elliott, CM, QC, on January 26, 2005 in Toronto, Ontario. Elliott, who had served previously as chairman of CAE, had been a director of the company since 1951. To honour Elliott’s contribution to the company, CAE had, in 2001, donated $1 million Canadian for the creation of the ‘R Fraser Elliott Scholarship and Laboratory Program’ at the École Polytechnique and the Université de Montréal.
