Independent aircraft charter broker International Air Charter has witnessed an increasing demand among sensitive and difficult-to-reach regions, where scheduled airlines have limited or no access.
The company is currently working with government officials in sensitive areas in Iraq and has signed
an agreement with a Dubai-based emergency service provider catering to the oil and petroleum industry, to provide emergency evacuation services.
Commenting on this aspect of the business, director of business development Elie Abdo said: “Air charter services fulfil a very real and immediate need, that of emergency service provider which is available
at any time.
“Crisis situations can occur anywhere in the world at any time, be it medical emergencies, political turmoil or natural disasters. In such cases, air charter air services can provide an immediate and reliable solution.”
International Air Charter is also working with several media channels in the Middle East, whose correspondents cover stories in sensitive areas.
The company says it is among the select few with permission to land in the holy city of Medina,
Saudi Arabia.
