A Gulfstream IV on a flight from London Luton Airport was damaged in a runway incident that occurred at Teterboro, NJ on December 1st.

No one aboard the aircraft was injured when it veered off the runway only moments after an apparently routine landing. In a preliminary statement, the aircraft’s UK operator - Farnborough-based Gama Aviation - stated that the aircraft was landing in a crosswind, but said: “The landing itself was normal, however during the rollout the aircraft experienced braking and directional control difficulties and veered off the runway to the right.”

All nine people on board the aircraft were safely evacuated, although the airport subsequently closed for operational reasons. Gama is working with the NTSB and the UK AAIB to discover the cause of the incident, and an investigation is under way.
