SAS Flight Academy AB has opened a training centre at Oslo Airport in Gardermoen, Norway.
The centre, which opened in August, features three full flight simulators: a B737NG, a B737 Classic and a Dash 8-100/300, and includes cabin-training equipment for these three aircraft types.
The building also house classrooms, briefing and debriefing rooms and CBT terminals. Olof Barve, president of SAS flight academy said: “The opening of the academy in Oslo fits in well with our strategy of establishing training centres close to our customers’ home bases.”
The company already has two training centres in the region, one in Stockholm and one in Copenhagen, both offering training for pilots, cabin crews, maintenance technicians and ships’ officers.
