CAN’s executive director Bonnie LeVar said: “We are delighted to be able to help so many cancer patients and we are extremely grateful for the generosity of our participating corporations and the hard work and enthusiasm of our volunteers who together make this possible.”

Founded in 1981, the Corporate Angel Network works with patients, doctors, corporate flight departments and treatment centres to transport around 200 cancer patients a month. The charity expects to fly its 20,000th patient early next year.
