Turin-based air charter company Eurofly Service has announced a 35 per cent traffic increase in 2004 compared with the previous year, which it believes reflects both an upturn in its own business, as well as a general rise in business aviation traffic across Italian airports.
Eurofly believes its policy of fleet expansion is, at least in part, responsible for its success. The company has recently purchased a Citation Bravo and a Citation Excel, bringing its fleet up to a total of 20 aircraft.
However the company points to other factors such as reliability of service, which have had a positive effect on business. Said Eurofly’s general manager Dr. Alberto Nathansohn: “Dealing with growing demand will not be achieved solely through better coverage of territory or expansion of the existing fleet.
“Our target group is becoming increasingly diversified and, above all, demands skill and reliability in aircraft management and exclusive service quality.”
Eurofly has also opened a new base at Treviso airport, to add to those already in place at Turin, Milan Linate, Milan Malpensa, Rome Ciampino, Ancona and Genoa.
