EFS customers delighted with second Citation III
In June this year, as part of the expansion of Euro Flight Service (EFS) in Germany, the company has added a second fully refurbished Citation III to its fleet. The company’s maintenance director Christian Boeck says the reason they decided to select another Citation III is because of customer popularity, the large cabin, comfort, speed and its 2,000 nautical mile range.

An important factor for EFS, says Boeck, is service. He explained: “Cessna has the best service policy. They have excellent service centres all over the world, so parts supply and maintenance of a high standard is always guaranteed.

“The Citation aircraft family is a unique concept and they have the highest despatch reliability which, in our opinion, is the key to success.”

Euro Flight Service is based at Düsseldorf Airport and has operated its charter business for nearly 20 years. The company flies two Citation IIIs, two Citation Is and a King Air F90.

Boeck said: “The only disadvantage of Düsseldorf airport is the restricted opening times.

“However there is a good supply of industry in the near vicinity and a fair number of executives who provide us with good business.”

Talking of demand, EFS has noticed a certain upswing in business this year. Boeck concluded: “Due to the economic situation in Germany and Europe, many companies decided to cut down their budgets for executive travel . However, since the Iraq War when people were afraid to fly, business has certainly increased.”
