Gulfstream approved to install awareness equipment
Gulfstream has received approval from the FAA to install the Honeywell runway awareness and advisory system (RAAS) on aircraft with the Honeywell MkV enhanced ground proximity warning system (EGPWS) installed.

Gulfstream has received approval from the FAA to install the Honeywell runway awareness and advisory system (RAAS) on aircraft with the Honeywell MkV enhanced ground proximity warning system (EGPWS) installed.

All Gulfstream and General Dynamics Aviation Services’ service centres are ready to begin installations, according to Larry Flynn, president, product support, Gulfstream.

He said: “In addition to our product line, the STC enables us to perform the RAAS installation on more than 20 different business jet models including Boeing, Bombarder, Cessna, Challenger, Falcon, Hawker and Learjet.”
