Cirrus chooses Honeywell technology
Honeywell’s Bendix/King KGP 560 enhanced ground proximity warning system is to be offered as a factory-installed option for the Cirrus SR series aircraft. “The KGP 560 is the first terrain and warning system offered by Cirrus,” said Honeywell director of marketing for business, regional and general aviation, Dan Barks. “It offers protection from controlled flight into terrain, one of the leading causes of general aviation fatalities.”
