The Royal Jet Group of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has signed a purchase agreement for two Challenger 300s and placed options for two additional aircraft.
The business jets will enter Middle East charter service with Royal Jet in the second quarter of 2005.
They will join Royal Jet’s luxury charter fleet at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
“Royal Jet is one of the fastest growing business jet charter operators in the Middle East.
“After only one year in operation, we currently operate a fleet of four large business jets,” explained Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, chairman of Royal Jet.
“The superior operating economics of the Challenger 300, combined with its large cabin and proven range, made this a relatively straightforward selection,” observed Tilmann Gabriel, president and chief executive officer of Royal Jet.
“The Challenger 300 is the right aircraft for Royal Jet and it will now form the basis of our Middle East charter fleet.”
“This latest sale further under-scores why the new Challenger 300 aircraft represents the ideal aircraft for charter operations worldwide,” stated Peter Edwards, president of Bombardier Business Aircraft.
