International Heli Trade has announced the ‘Future Helicopter Markets Summit,’ a series of

briefings and case studies which will focus on business development, regulation and policy as well as the commercial opportunities and challenges facing the European helicopter business.

The ‘Leaders’ Roundtable’ session is expected to be a particularly lively debate.

Chaired by James Lyons, former chair of the JAA helicopter Committee, it will include contributions from Europe’s heavy-hitters including Dr Siegfried Sobotta, who is chairman of the European Helicopter Association and a United States perspective from Charles Chung, who is director of regulations and international affairs at the Helicopter Association International.

There is also an ‘east meets west’ session on western use of Russian aircraft, presented by UTair Aviation and a case study from Rega on financing models for emergency air rescue operations.

The Future Helicopter Markets Summit takes place on the morning of Tuesday, October 5 at Geneva Palexpo, Switzerland.
