Swissport Executive Aviation (SEA) teamed up with ExecuJet to provide a vvip service at the World Economic Forum in the Swiss resort of Davos. Zurich airport welcomed more than 400 fixed wing aircraft for the event, carrying 17 Prime Ministers, 10 Presidents or deputies and many business figures from around the world.

The SEA-ExecuJet team took care of more than 70 aircraft including A310s, BBJs, TU154s, Gulfstreams and Learjets. SEA says that there were no service failures during the event.

Meanwhile, SEA reports that its London Heathrow and Nice bases have both recorded growth this year. Nice recorded a 22 per cent growth in aircraft movements during January and February compared with the same period in 2003. There was a predominance of smaller aircraft, although it claims that there was some recovery in terms of larger aircraft visiting from the US and Middle East.

Heathrow recorded 50 per cent growth in revenue for January compared with 2003 and 30 per cent in February. The mix of aircraft was said to be better proportioned with the arrival of several larger aircraft, supported by a number of Gulfstreams, Global Express and Challenger-size aircraft.
