The US FAA has awarded regulatory approval for the use of Honeywell TFE731-20BR engines on the Learjet 45XR.
Bombardier Aerospace is issuing a service bulletin to Learjet 45 operators, enabling them to have their aircraft’s engine upgraded at a Bombardier Aircraft services facility.
“With certification now official, the Bombardier Learjet 45XR becomes the leader in the key performance criteria in the super light segment,” said Mike Kanaley, vp and general manager, Learjet, Bombardier Aerospace business aircraft. “The aircraft now delivers enhanced performance at high altitudes, in hot temperatures, and will fly approximately 2,000 nautical miles with eight passengers, two crew and full fuel,” he added.
