International Heli Trade has announced details of the Emergency Response Helicopter conference that will take place alongside the exhibition in October.

Focusing on best practice, technical innovations and real-life experiences, the conference will draw on the expertise of an international body of speakers who have practical experience in search and research and primary responder helicopter operations.

The one-and-a-half day conference will include several case studies and will open with an overview of the regulatory environment for emergency responders across Europe with presentations from Jim Lyons, formerly of the JAA and CAA and Friedrich Rehkopf of Germany’s ADAC Luftrettung.

The conference takes place on October 6 and 7 during International Heli Trade at Geneva Palexpo.
